Families may choose from two exciting tours for two different perspectives of the world beneath our feet. Take the DISCOVERY TOUR along well lit pathways. Learn how caves are formed, and see many beautiful cave formations such as stalagmite, stalactites, and so much more.

The more adventurous can take the LANTERN TOUR and carry a candle lit lantern through the darkest areas of the cave while guides share cave history and folklore of the Manitou Grand Caverns.

 

The brave at heart can try the WIND WALKER CHALLENGE COURSE overlooking William’s Canyon, hundreds of feet below. Each participant will be placed in a harness and securely attached to the overhead tracking system.
Experience flight while you zip along beautiful Williams Canyon on the BAT-A-PULT. Come join us, have lunch, and take in the spectacular scenery!

NEW: TIME FREAK! A THRILLING RACE AGAINST TIME! Time Freak is an exciting new attraction that challenges players to frantically race against the clock to push buttons as they light up. Players score points by racing around the control room, pushing buttons as quickly as possible. The more buttons you push before time runs out, the more points you score!

Cave of the Winds is open 364 days a year!
Summer Hours: 9:00 am – 9:00 pm
Winter Hours: 10:00 am – 5:00 pm

Hours of operation for all Cave of the Winds outdoor attractions depend on weather and, as always, are subject to change. Rides may not be available October - May, except on specific weekends and holidays.

DISCOVERY TOUR
Labor Day – Memorial Day: 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Memorial Day – Labor Day Weekend: 9:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m.
(LAST TOUR BEGINS BETWEEN 8:00 AND 8:30 p.m. in the summer and between 4:00 pm and 4:30 pm in the winter. Tours run daily.

LANTERN TOUR

Winter Schedule: Tours on weekends only 11:00 am, 1:00 pm and 3:00 pm

Summer Schedule: Daily on the hour 9:00 am through 7:00 pm

EARLY BAT TOUR

Save on the Discovery Tour when you arrive before the crowds! Memorial Day through Labor Day

Tour times are 9:00 am, 9:30 am, 10:00 am, 10:30 am, 11:00 am Monday through Friday only
