Pikes Peak Region Gone Viral
In 2023 we turned our attention seriously to content creation, hiring a full-time Videographer and a full-time Digital Ads Manager, bringing our small but mighty team to four. The result has been absolutely mind blowing.
We saw steady growth on all of our social media channels throughout the year, and then in August, one piece of content caught fire and our YouTube channel went from 8K to 12.5K in 24 hours and by the end of August, we’d hit 100K. On January 5, 2024, our channel passed 1M subscribers.
Our organization has been around since 1973 and we’ve had an active YouTube channel since 2015. For over 50 years, we’ve been a small 501(c)6, completely reliant on membership dues as our means of income. Our budget is tiny. Our staff is very . . . efficient. This moment in our history is unprecedented.
