45th U.S. Senior Open Championship

Experience the 45th U.S. Senior Open Championship at The Broadmoor June 25-29. Nestled on the southern edge of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs, you don’t want to miss the excitement of this family-friendly event. This will be the ninth major championship hosted at the famous Colorado resort featuring the best senior players in the world and legends of the game. Ticket prices start below $30 and kids 17 and under are admitted free.

'Ski Areas of the Pikes Peak Region'

The Manitou Springs Heritage Museum proudly announces the opening of its new Winter exhibit, “Ski Areas of the Pikes Peak Region”.  The exhibit is a collaboration with the Colorado Snowsports Museum in Vail, who provided some amazing historic photographs. Due to the efforts of the Pikes Peak Ski Club and Don Lawrie, the club’s first president, ski areas like the Pikes Peak Ski Area and Ski Broadmoor were successful for many years while other Ski Areas were planned, but never...

The Manitou Springs Heritage Museum proudly announces the opening of its new Winter exhibit, “Ski Areas of the Pikes Peak Region”.  The exhibit is a collaboration with the Colorado Snowsports Museum in Vail, who provided some amazing historic photographs. Due to the efforts of the Pikes Peak Ski Club and Don Lawrie, the club’s first president, ski areas like the Pikes Peak Ski Area and Ski Broadmoor were successful for many years while other Ski Areas were planned, but never operational.  This exhibit tells the stories of the early skiing pioneers who were dedicated to promoting the sport of skiing within the Pikes Peak Region.
