The Organization The City of Cripple Creek, incorporated in 1892, is a statutory City organized under provisions of the Colorado Constitution and is the county seat of Teller County. City government consists of a Mayor and four-member City Council, with a City Administrator responsible for carrying out the policies and ordinances of the City Council.
The Community The City of Cripple Creek occupies approximately 1.5 square miles on the southwestern slope of Pikes Peak in Colorado’s majestic Rocky Mountains. Sitting at 9,494 feet above sea level, the City is located only 44 scenic miles southwest of the City of Colorado Springs. The first homesteaders arrived here in the mid-1800’s, and when ranch hand Bob Womack discovered gold in 1890, the gold rush was on and the area earned the name “The World’s Greatest Gold Camp.” By the 1920’s, only 40 of 500 gold mines remained in operation. In the 1940’s, the City began to promote itself as a tourist destination. To help preserve the historic nature and visual history of the City, limited stakes gaming was approved by a statewide ballot initiative in 1991. Today, Cripple Creek is a full-service City and tourist destination. Located nearby is Colorado’s largest operating modern gold mine. Along with a friendly and neighborly atmosphere for residents and visitors, the City offers the excitement of gambling (one of only three cities in the State of Colorado), family-oriented attractions and activities, outdoor adventure, and the opportunity to step back in time while enjoying the rich history of the City and surrounding area. Because our vibrant City with 1,200 year-round residents never sleeps (the casino industry operates 24/7), and with more than one million visitors each year, several of our City services, including police and fire, equate to those of a much larger City. Cripple Creek is designated as a National Historic Landmark, and in 2017, was voted one of Trip Advisor’s “20 Best Summer Vacation Ideas.”
Director and Department The Marketing and Events Department, through the direction of this position, is responsible for the successful marketing of the City, all tourism related activities within town, and all aspects of producing and executing events owned by the City or those where the City has a significant share in the event. The Director will identify the necessary focus for destination marketing efforts based on direction from City Council City of Cripple Creek Director of Marketing and Events | Page 2and Administration, the City’s Annual Goals and Objectives, and the current trends in destination tourism. The incumbent will then collaborate with local business leaders, City departments, and other community stakeholders to market the City using the most effective tools for marketing based on the focus determined and planning and executing events to attract visitors to the area. The Director will also have web content/internet marketing duties and responsibilities such as writing, editing, and proofreading new content for applicable City websites and social media. The current structure of the department includes one other full-time employee.
The Ideal Candidate The City is seeking a professional person of character with a commitment to high ethical standards, transparency, and honesty; proven management and leadership experience in multiple marketing mediums; successful planning and executing of events; and responsible budget management. The successful candidate will be expected to work with other City departments and community stakeholders to bring the best events to the City as well as attract visitors through a robust marketing campaign for current City attractions. The Director will be a proven leader with the ability to build relationships and guide the department through the upcoming opportunities and potential challenges. Other desired competencies and characteristics include performing physically demanding tasks for events; the ability to prioritize tasks; excellent time management, problem prevention, and problem-solving skills; a high degree of creativity and latitude with the ability to graphically design basic marketing material and provide creative direction to others; the ability to meet time demands while executing events; and the ability to work with multiple stakeholders and foster positive relationships between different organizations, entities and the public.
Minimum Qualifications This position requires at least two years of college-level business-related education or substantial experience in developing and executing festival-type special events and marketing-related processes; three or more years of office experience is preferred. Other combinations of education and experience that provide the skills required for the job may be substituted for the listed requirements.
Compensation The hiring range is $72,074 to $84,793, depending on qualifications, with an excellent benefit package that includes 8% retirement with a 9% City match (in addition to social security), voluntary 457 deferred compensation, and medical, dental, vision, long-term City of Cripple Creek Director of Marketing and Events | Page 3disability and life insurance (effective 1 of month following hire); retiree healthcare program, sick and vacation leave, 12 paid holidays, and more.

As a member of the Cog Railway Team, this position will research, prospect, develop and contract groups of 25+ people for The Broadmoor Manitou & Pikes Peak Cog Railway and The Broadmoor Seven Falls. Responsibilities will include making sales calls, qualifying leads, developing proposals, site inspections, contracting and definite booking turnover to the reservations managers. This position will work with existing accounts to maintain good relationships, develop referrals and will prospect to generate new leads and business.

What you will be doing:
- Research, prospect and develop leads regarding group reservations and logistical requirements of the group and issue a proposal within 24 hours of developing a viable lead
- Demonstrate ability to make efficient and effective decisions in fast-paced environments.
- Attend sales conferences as necessary
- Ability to greet and direct large groups from busses to the train
- Must have a flexible schedule based on group schedules
- Deep understanding of train schedule and ticket office skills
- Establish strong relationship with the Broadmoor conference team
- Identify sales opportunities through local websites and events
- Create customized offers based on demographics and seasonal trends in order to drive revenue growth
- Sell trains seats and park admission at preferred group rates;
- Utilize Sales Force to track all business leads;
- Coordinate site visits focusing on owned assets including Seven Falls and Broadmoor Outfitters;
- Understand Cog Railway operations (parking, retail, trains operations) and Seven Falls park operations (parking, retail, food and beverage and park operations) to provide groups clarity on how to maximize their experiences;
- Become familiar with RocketRez ticketing and reservation system to understand availability for groups for both operations;
- Have a working knowledge of available items to upsell to maximize Cog Railway and Seven Falls revenue, including retail, food and beverage and transportation options;
- Work with Broadmoor sales team to develop relationships with resort groups and provide the Cog Railway and Seven Falls as recreational options to the group while on site;
- Solicit other hotel and resorts in the area to offer the Cog Railway and Seven Falls group options to their group guests;
- Attend local events and tradeshows as assigned to develop new business opportunities;
- Attend all departmental meetings and activities, including Broadmoor sales teams meetings.

The Retail Sales Lead coordinates store operations, supporting and training both stockers and cashiers. Job Responsibilities
• Perform all Sales Associate and General Utility Worker duties
• Hold pre-shift meetings to ensure that the team is aware of the day’s tasks, visiting VIPs, Be the Difference & Safety of the day and any other miscellaneous information to ensure successful operations

• Must always ensure cleanliness and a pleasant atmosphere store
• Collect and compile daily cash and sales data from all outlets using Microsoft Excel and various Point of Sales and Property Management System software programs
• Lead all aspects of nightly close out and balance cash with daily sales at the end of the shift
• May perform nightly audit of cashier documentation
• Retail Leads assist management in scheduling all employees in accordance with labor budgets and assigning work tasks to the Sales Associates and General Utility Workers
• May assist with hiring General Utility Workers and Sales Associates
• May be required to coordinate, correct, supervise and submit payroll for the department, ensuring accuracy, proper transfer of labor and timely weekly reporting

Qualifications
• Previous retail experience preferred
• Mathematical skills are required to facilitate sales reports and audits

Job Responsibilities

The EMT Lead is responsible for completing and managing tasks as assigned by the Assistant Operations Manager, which support Pikes Peak and fulfills contract obligations, assisting with guest needs, and resolving or escalating any guest concerns or issues. May also be responsible for oversight or delegation of responsibilities within the guest services operation. Reports directly to the Assistant Operations Manager.

Compensation Data
The hourly rate for this position ranges from $20.00 to $20.25, depending on circumstances including an applicant’s skills and qualifications, certain degrees and certifications, prior job experience, market data, and other relevant factors. Additional compensation may include a bonus or commission (if relevant). This is Aramark’s good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation for this position as of the time of posting.
If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and Aramark reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time AND FOR ANY REASON, including, BUT NOT LIMITED TO for reasons related to individual performance, Aramark or individual department/team performance, and market factors.

Job Responsibilities
• Assist with schedules and assigns daily work assignments and oversees completion of tasks
• Ensure compliance with HIPPA requirements for EMT Department
• Trains and guides EMT staff on job duties, customer service, systems, and procedures
• Greet and provide customer service to guests while anticipating their needs
• Assist with timely daily and quarterly reports to General Manager and Operations Manager
• Assist with staff retention
• Delegating tasks to appropriate associates
• Overseeing EMT stock and ordering supplies, tracking, and reporting of weekly inventory
• Collecting and analyzing any available feedback from patients’ gauge satisfaction and success
• Participates in Quality Assurance Programs and reviews to address areas in need of improvement

Qualifications
• Supervisory experience in a related role preferred
• Previous EMT experience required
• Previous guest services experience required
• Demonstrates excellent customer service skills
• Demonstrates interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written
• Demonstrate organization skills, accuracy, and attention to detail
• NREMT and Colorado State Certification required
This role may have physical demands including, but not limited to, lifting, bending, pushing, pulling and/or extended walking and standing. This role may also require uniforms and/or usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).

Our stables is seeking a highly-motivated Grounds and Maintenance Manager with a strong attention to detail. Duties would range from electrical, plumbing, mechanical, irrigation, carpentry and general fix-it knowledge. Applicant must have a strong working knowledge of vehicle maintenance and must know how to work and operate large ranch machinery such as tractors (specifically on hill-like terrain and able to use the tractor to load and unload hay.) The Applicant must be organized and capable of keeping good maintenance records. Both part-time and full-time positions are available with retirement benefits once applicant achieves eligibility. Lodging on site is also offered as a potential part of the offer package for the right candidate. Pay will be based upon experience and the applicant must be able to pass a criminal background check and a drug test.
Responsibilities:
Repair major and minor issues with equipment and buildings throughout stables • Complete maintenance and repair work orders, in a timely fashion • Order and replace broken parts or equipment • Maintain machinery on site • Ability to operate a large tractor to load and unload hay • Maintain a clean and a safe work space • Perform other duties, as assigned
Qualifications:
Previous experience in maintenance or other related fields • Familiarity with hand-held tools and equipment • Deadline and detail-oriented • Ability to handle physical workload • Equine experience a plus but not required
