'The Garbologists'

Written by Lindsay Joelle and Directed by GerRee Hinshaw. Danny is a white, blue-collar, born-and-bred New Yorker. Marlowe is Black, Ivy-League-educated, and just joined the sanitation department. They’ve got one thing in common: the route. Over the course of countless trash pickups, this odd couple bickers, bonds, and uncovers unexpected truths about themselves—and the city they serve. Directed by GerRee Hinshaw (Dream Hou$e), The Garbologists is a sharp and heartfelt comedy about finding connection in the mess of everyday life. Pikes Peak Pride Festival & Parade

Tens of thousands of visitors will gather from Colorado and the Pikes Peak Region. Two full days of festival activities to include over 150 vendors, a cocktail lounge, youth square and over 25 live entertainment acts. On Sunday, the annual Pikes Peak Pride Parade will fill the streets of Tejon with Vibrant floats enthusiastic marchers, lively music and a myriad of other attractions. Our desire is to foster a festival where people feel safe, accepted, and supported while raising awareness for issues facing LGBTQ+ people living in the Pikes Peak Region. Curious Palate Wine Tasting | Roots to Stars: Aquarius

Each year, we offer a new Curious Palate Wine Experience theme to sip n’ play with; a fun way to share wine and culture with a new view. This year, we thought it would be fun to explore the characteristics of the vines with the characteristics of the Zodiac! We’ll explore wines, varieties, and regions from around the world intending to find out if they truly resonate with the astrological traits of each sign! The first tasting experience of 2026 will feature celestial selections to emulate the characteristics and quirks of Aquarius! What wines reflect the imaginative and free-spirited Water Bearer? Raptors of Colorado

Have you ever wondered what makes falcons the fastest animals in the world? Can owls really turn their head all the way around? Birds of prey have fascinated humans for thousands of years and have been important symbols (both positive and negative) in cultures throughout the world. This program on raptors in Colorado will introduce participants to these fascinating animals by discussing their unique adaptations, their individual hunting strategies, and their conservation challenges. This program will take place on the second floor of the Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center. Please note that there are no live animals in this program.
