The Lone Duck Campground offers some of the best camping in the Pikes Peak region, with multiple ways to stay and play. Nestled in the Pike National forest off of Highway 24, this peaceful, family-friendly spot has welcomed visitors for decades, offering a fun place to rest and relax outdoors when you’re not running around the Rockies. Lone Duck Campground knows there’s more than one way to camp in the Pikes Peak region. That’s why they offer three different options for campers visiting Colorado! Sites are spread across five acres of well-maintained grounds, with a central lodge for all the camp’s many amenities. All sites come with a picnic table and a fire pit, too!

No RV, no problem. Lone Duck Campground offers seven cabins for campers who want the Rocky Mountain feel, but don’t want to/can’t sleep in a tent. Campers will enjoy the cozy, rustic aesthetic and the accompanying fire pit for relaxing with friends in the evenings. All cabins include a microwave and mini fridge. Don’t forget to bring your own bedding!

Tent sites are located in the trees on both sides of the campground and come with a fire pit and a picnic table. Many sites are located near the mountain stream that runs through the property. Tent campers get access to all the same amenities that cabin sleepers and RV users, including the arcade, showers and pool. Tent sites do not have water or electric and pad site will vary.
