Family Fourth

Traditionally families gathered with their communities to celebrate the Fourth of July with food, games, music, and speeches. Rock Ledge Ranch continues this tradition with an event that has something for everyone. Sunset Viewing on Pikes Peak

Experience sunset from the summit of Pikes Peak — America’s Mountain! The Gateway to the Pikes Peak Highway will reopen at 7:00 pm, giving guests the opportunity to drive their personal vehicle to the summit or ride a shuttle to the top of Pikes Peak. Sunset is expected at 8:29 pm, offering a rare chance to take in the evening views from 14,115 feet — and see the city’s fireworks from above. Important details: Advance purchase is required for timed entry permits and sunset admission, OR shuttle tickets. Same-day admission will not be available. Availability is limited. Guests must begin descending from the summit no later than 9:10 pm.. Reserve your spot early and enjoy a one-of-a-kind evening on Pikes Peak! Please note: Fireworks will not be launched from the summit of Pikes Peak. The only fireworks launched from Pikes Peak take place on New Year’s Eve. Guests may be able to view fireworks being set off down in the city from the summit area.
