Our Friday You-Pick Flowers at our farm in Colorado Springs was created around one simple idea: spending a sunny summer morning exactly how we’d want to—surrounded by flowers and good company. Picture this: sipping coffee, strolling the fields, and cutting a beautiful bouquet to take home. It’s slow, joyful, and just about perfect. Farm Hours: The farm is open from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. With your ticket, you’re welcome to arrive anytime during those hours. General Admission — $5 Each guest entering the farm for you-pick will pay a flat $5 admission fee. Flowers are purchased separately and purchased at the farm. Your admission includes access to: The you-pick flower field Our on-site gift shop Picnic tables and seating Concessions Wander the garden and fill your cup with 20 flower stems. The biodegradable cup is yours to keep, making it easy to transport your flowers home or share them with a friend. We provide the cup, water, and snips for cutting. For over 70 years, the Flying W Ranch has been welcoming guests of all ages to Colorado Springs’ only Chuckwagon Dinner Show—a Western tradition unlike anything else in the region. Reflecting on both the Semi-quincentennial of America and the Sesquicentennial of Colorado’s statehood, this exhibit centers people and stories to examine opportunities and obstacles to freedom in our community.

Created in honor of Colorado’s 150th Anniversary of Statehood, this expanded special event celebrates the creativity, heritage, agriculture, and adventurous spirit that make Colorado extraordinary. Running from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the event runs concurrently with the weekly Royal Gorge Farmers Market from 9:00 am–1:00 pm, featuring local produce, baked goods, specialty foods, farm products, and regional vendors. Throughout the day, the event expands into a vibrant Makers Market, welcoming artisans and craftspeople from across Colorado to showcase and sell handmade wares, artwork, home décor, jewelry, apparel, specialty products, and Colorado-inspired creations. Visitors can enjoy a lively festival atmosphere complete with live music, children’s activities, food trucks, community gathering spaces, and special experiences throughout the day. Sunset Viewing on Pikes Peak

Experience sunset from the summit of Pikes Peak — America’s Mountain on Colorado's 150 anniversary of statehood! The Gateway to the Pikes Peak Highway will reopen at 6:45 pm, giving guests the opportunity to drive their personal vehicle to the summit or ride a shuttle to the top of Pikes Peak. Sunset is expected at 8:10 pm, offering a rare chance to take in the evening views from 14,115 feet. Important details: Advance purchase is required for timed entry permits and sunset admission, OR shuttle tickets. Same-day admission will not be available. Availability is limited.
