Little Learners: Pikes Peak Wonders Series

Who doesn’t love a birthday party? This year, Colorado is turning 150, and America is turning 250! The Little Learners: Pikes Peak Wonders Series is for children (ages 3-5) and their favorite grownup. Learn and celebrate the whole year through games, crafts, songs, and history challenges. These programs are designed to help young learners discover and practice essential development skills, all while exploring history! This month we'll dive into the Colorado Early Learning & Development Guidelines for Social Development and explore friendships, sharing, and joint play. Film in the Community in Celebration of Black History Month

In a record-breaking career spanning 18 years, Lewis won nine Olympic gold medals across four Games and was voted “Sportsman of the Century” by the International Olympic Committee. Yet Lewis refused to be pigeonholed and, in doing so, he both revolutionized his sport and inspired cultural change. Almost 30 years on, Lewis’s legacy has failed to match his incredible success on the track. 'Romeo & Juliet'

Romeo & Juliet Written by William Shakespeare and Directed by Max Shulman. These violent delights have violent ends. In his first production as Theatreworks’ Artistic Director, Max Shulman (An Iliad, Free-for-All: Pericles, Henry IV & V) returns to the Bard with a bold new vision of Romeo & Juliet. This fresh take on Shakespeare’s iconic tragedy marks a full-circle moment—honoring Theatreworks’ very first Shakespeare production in 1976. Passion, violence, and poetry collide in this electric staging, proving that the tale of star-crossed lovers is as urgent, dangerous, and heartbreaking as ever. UCCS students are always free.
