Car Show

May Faire Celebration

May Faire at Mountain Song Community School Celebrate the arrival of spring with music, movement, crafts, food trucks, and joyful community traditions at Mountain Song Community School’s annual May Faire. This festive seasonal celebration brings together students, families, and community members for a morning of traditional May Faire activities and hands on fun. Guests can enjoy maypole dances, singing, crown making, paper flower crafts, a gem dig, and a whimsical butterfly catch with handmade butterflies. A silent auction will also be available to explore. Food trucks will be on site, and Mountain Song 8th Grade students will offer baked goods for purchase in support of their end of year trip. The celebration begins with a beloved school tradition as kindergarten students set out on a joyful quest to find the 8th Grade May Faire royals, marking both the arrival of spring and the growth of students through the grades. 3rd Annual Touch-a-Truck

Join us for Touch-A-Truck, in support of Friends of the Children, at the Norris-Penrose Indoor Event Center; where kids of all ages can sit in, play on, and flash the lights of their favorite vehicles! First responder, military, sanitation, construction and community vehicles from all corners of Colorado Springs will be present to let your kiddos explore! We will even have helicopters (weather permitting)! This event is HUGE and so much fun! This event runs from 9:30am to 2pm on Saturday, May 16th, 2026, and is absolutely free! However, there is timed entry this year to ease parking congestion and wait times to explore vehicles. Get your FREE tickets today! Touch-A-Truck will again be completely horn-free (parents please help us in this endeavor) to accommodate those with noise sensitivities. We have partnered with the Children's Entrepreneur Market where kids from all over our community will be on hand to sell their amazing homemade items!
