Jazz in the Garden Presents US Air Force Academy Band
Presented by Grace and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church at Grace and St. Stephen's Episcopal Church Colorado Springs, CO
The professional Airmen-musicians in the USAFA follow a long blue line of talented Air Force Academy bandsmen, dedicated to serving our great nation. They represent the young men and women at the United States Air Force Academy training to be officers of character who will lead our Air Force and Space Force. The USAFA bands play a major role in cultivating our national heritage through American jazz! The Jazz in the Garden 2026 season begins on May 29 at 7pm in the garden at the corner of N. Tejon and Monument Streets., just blocks north of downtown, and continues on alternate Fridays through August 21. Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready to spend your evening with the best music to be found in the city–new, old, tried and true you don't want to miss a single one! We'll provide beverages (for donation) and music that will get your toes tapping and fingers snapping. Picnics welcome. Blankets and lawn chairs encouraged. Beverages available. The delightfully campy show revels in nostalgia for Hollywood musicals of the '30s. Sweet little Ruby from faraway Hometown, U.S.A. has come to the big city make her mark on Broadway. Who should she chance to meet but another boy from Hometown, U.S.A.: Dick, a sailor, who also has ambitions as a songwriter. Ruby begins in the chorus, and by the end of the day, in true Hollywood fashion, Dick saves her doomed Broadway show with a smash tune and Ruby becomes a star on the deck of a battleship, which just happens to be passing by. Our Friday You-Pick Flowers at our farm in Colorado Springs was created around one simple idea: spending a sunny summer morning exactly how we’d want to—surrounded by flowers and good company. Picture this: sipping coffee, strolling the fields, and cutting a beautiful bouquet to take home. It’s slow, joyful, and just about perfect. Farm Hours: The farm is open from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. With your ticket, you’re welcome to arrive anytime during those hours. General Admission — $5 Each guest entering the farm for you-pick will pay a flat $5 admission fee.
