Sunrise & Sun Salutations at the Skyspace

Come and experience the introspective beauty of the sunrise show at the Green Mountain Falls Skyspace, followed by a 60-minute Vinyasa flow, led by Meg Taylor! The class will be centered around sun salutations and heart and hip opening postures. Skyspace show begins at 5:30 am, followed by the yoga session, which will be held in the outer alcove of the Skyspace. The session is open to yoga practitioners at any level. For the hike up to the Skyspace, we recommend leaving 30-60 minutes before the start time of the show. Attendees should plan to bring their own yoga mat. Join Dr. Claire Ramos and her students from Colorado State University Pueblo as we learn about the birds of the Garden of the Gods. During this bird banding demonstration, you will learn how her team safely catches birds and collects scientific information, while getting to observe the birds up close. No previous experience is necessary for this event. Advanced registration required. There will be 2 demonstrations, beginning at 7 am and at 8 am. Each demonstration will last approximately 1 hour.
