Alpaca Fest

Welcome to Alpaca Fest! We're bringing four alpacas to Colorado Springs, and we'd love for you to come meet them. This is a free, drop-in afternoon for the ABA community here — BCBAs, RBTs, the families you work with, and everyone's kids and siblings. No agenda, no programming, nothing to sign up for. Just an afternoon to be together outside of a clinic or a session, in a space built to be easy for everyone in it. Come when it suits you, stay as long as it's working, head out when it isn't. What's happening: Four alpacas with their handler, in small unhurried groups — feed them, brush them, help prep their treats, or watch from wherever feels comfortable Build-your-own soft serve, everything labeled LEGO building, giant board games, and a sensory table Customize a plush alpaca to take home A few things we've thought about: no loud music, no PA announcements, no balloons. A few days before, we'll send photos of the space, the alpacas, and their handler so kids can see what's coming. Come say hi. Our Friday You-Pick Flowers at our farm in Colorado Springs was created around one simple idea: spending a sunny summer morning exactly how we’d want to—surrounded by flowers and good company. Picture this: sipping coffee, strolling the fields, and cutting a beautiful bouquet to take home. It’s slow, joyful, and just about perfect. Farm Hours: The farm is open from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. With your ticket, you’re welcome to arrive anytime during those hours. General Admission — $5 Each guest entering the farm for you-pick will pay a flat $5 admission fee. Flowers are purchased separately and purchased at the farm. Your admission includes access to: The you-pick flower field Our on-site gift shop Picnic tables and seating Concessions Wander the garden and fill your cup with 20 flower stems. The biodegradable cup is yours to keep, making it easy to transport your flowers home or share them with a friend. We provide the cup, water, and snips for cutting. Junktique Off-Main A bigger vision. A new monthly experience. Junktique Off-Main — a new monthly event located on private property just off downtown Florence. Designed to give both shoppers and vendors more room, more convenience, and more opportunity, Off-Main expands the Junktique experience beyond Main Street while keeping the same spirit of discovery that people love. This new location creates space for growth and flexibility, with room for vendors who want to participate monthly and room for customers to enjoy an easy, comfortable shopping experience. Visitors can expect: A monthly market experience. Easy access just off downtown Florence. Free parking (off street, in the front of the property.) $2 parking (off-street, next to the event gate). VIP ($5) (on concrete, inside the event gates.) Free handicapped parking (must have license plate or hanging tag, on concrete, inside the event gates.) For vendors, Junktique Off-Main offers flexible ways to be part of the event, including full-time vendor spaces and per-event rentals. Lake George Fire Protection District Annual Spaghetti Dinner and On-Line Auction

Lake George Fire Protection District (LGFPD) is gearing up for their annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to be held Saturday, August 15 and an on-line auction. They are in need of items and/or services to be donated for the auction. Music will be provided by David Manship. This fundraiser is a vital component of LGFPD in insuring their continued and better ability to serve the needs of the district. All items will be placed in the on-line auction, which will run from August 2nd at 8 a.m. through August 17th at 8 p.m. To participate in the auction, go to https://www.32auctions.com/LGFire2026. LGFPD was established October 21, 1974 and are celebrating 52 years serving their district and beyond. LGFPD has one paid chief and an average of 35 active volunteers.
