Junior Ranger Walk

Jr. Ranger booklet and awards included! Join Park Interpreter and Jr. Ranger co-author Jennifer Heiny for this family-friendly walk! After a brief introduction inside, families will leisurely walk out into the Park from the Visitor and Nature Center. This informal walk will be loosely focused on the Junior Ranger booklet and can cover anything we are seeing. Sunscreen, sturdy shoes and water recommended! If there is inclement weather, the focus will shift to just indoors with touch tables and museum challenges. Meet in the Red Rocks Room on the second floor. Wednesday Morning Walks in the Garden of the Gods
Presented by City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services at Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center Colorado Springs, CO
Experience the Park’s natural beauty and unique features by joining this expanded guided nature walk. Participants will enjoy an introduction along Gateway Trail to the Central Garden’s most remarkable sights. The walk will cover about one mile over smooth, paved trails and will typically last around 90 minutes. Upon arrival at the Central Garden, participants may continue with the guide for further exploration, or continue to explore independently. Those who prefer can also return to the Visitor Center with the guide. Weather dependent. 'The Garbologists'

Written by Lindsay Joelle and Directed by GerRee Hinshaw. Danny is a white, blue-collar, born-and-bred New Yorker. Marlowe is Black, Ivy-League-educated, and just joined the sanitation department. They’ve got one thing in common: the route. Over the course of countless trash pickups, this odd couple bickers, bonds, and uncovers unexpected truths about themselves—and the city they serve. Directed by GerRee Hinshaw (Dream Hou$e), The Garbologists is a sharp and heartfelt comedy about finding connection in the mess of everyday life.
