Grand Opening + Block Party
Presented by Love Your Space at Love Your Space Colorado Springs, CO
Love Your Space, a new interior design studio, home décor shop and window covering gallery at 18 E. Rio Grande Street, will celebrate its official grand opening with a ribbon-cutting followed by a free community block party. The celebration begins at 4:30 p.m. with a ribbon-cutting at Love Your Space, followed by the Block Party from 5–8 p.m. in the VFW parking lot directly across the street. Free parking in Orly’s and Kae’s back parking lots – first come, first served. The idea behind the event is simple: celebrate the opening of Love Your Space while bringing neighbors, local businesses and the Colorado Springs community together for an easygoing evening of food, music and fun. The block party will feature live music, food trucks, games, and activities, with plenty of room to gather and enjoy the evening. Several neighboring businesses are also participating in and supporting the celebration. Huge thank you to Kae Event Studio & Floral Boutique, The Living Room, Skintelligent, the VFW, One Body Fitness Studio, and Orly’s for their participation! The Famous Flying W Chuckwagon Dinner Show

For over 70 years, the Flying W Ranch has been welcoming guests of all ages to Colorado Springs’ only Chuckwagon Dinner Show—a Western tradition unlike anything else in the region. 'Stronger Together'

Cottonwood Center for the Arts in partnership with the Cultural Office of the Pikes Peak Region (COPPR) is thrilled to present a juried exhibition for the month of September: STRONGER TOGETHER. This installation features artworks created in response to an open call to the public celebrating the 20th anniversary of COPPR, underwritten by Herman Tiemens. This project was designed to foster a deeper connection between local creative organizations and local creatives, to benefit our community at large. As inspiration for this call, COPPR and Herman Tiemens selected a diverse spectrum of creative brands from our community as subject matter. We asked artists to create artworks honoring the ethos and unique character of their chosen organization(s), highlighting their vital role in our region’s cultural identity. Our Friday You-Pick Flowers at our farm in Colorado Springs was created around one simple idea: spending a sunny summer morning exactly how we’d want to—surrounded by flowers and good company. Picture this: sipping coffee, strolling the fields, and cutting a beautiful bouquet to take home. It’s slow, joyful, and just about perfect. Farm Hours: The farm is open from 8:00 am – 12:00 pm. With your ticket, you’re welcome to arrive anytime during those hours. General Admission — $5 Each guest entering the farm for you-pick will pay a flat $5 admission fee. Flowers are purchased separately and purchased at the farm. Your admission includes access to: The you-pick flower field Our on-site gift shop Picnic tables and seating Concessions Wander the garden and fill your cup with 20 flower stems.
