Victory Garden Market: Fall Clean Up and Pollinator Protection

Cottonwood Center for the Arts is proud to announce an upcoming free community event celebrating local gardening, sustainability, and education: Victory Garden Market. This special edition of Victory Garden Market will feature everything from delectable pickled goods and pastries to local spa products and garden decor. The free event is open to the public and welcomes gardeners, families, and anyone interested in learning more about sustainable gardening practices. The month of September will feature a presentation by Master Gardener Anna Marie Campbell on how to manage your fall yard clean up in a way that protects our local pollinator population at 12pm. Visitors are encouraged to explore the expansive collection of artworks and visit with artists in open studios on both floors. The Play Crawl
Presented by Funky Little Theater Company at Old Colorado City History Center Colorado Springs, CO
Funky's third Play Crawl hits the streets of Old Colorado City this September. Ten mini plays are written for spaces around Old Colorado City including the Old Colorado Historical Society, Meraki Springs, 45 Degrees Gallery, The Queen's TEApothecary, Westside Laundry, Bon Tons Cafe, Mountain Man Fruit & Nut Co, and Carnelian Coffee. Playwrights have been given actors and locations to create a new four-minute play. Audiences will meet up with their guide and be led around to each performance. The last two times we did this it SOLD OUT, don't miss it this year!
