Cripple Creek Ice Festival
Presented by City of Cripple Creek at Cripple Creek Cripple Creek, CO
The head-to-head carving challenges will return to Ice Fest on Saturdays at 1:30 and 3:00. Carvers will compete in a stadium setting for a $1,000 cash prize each weekend. Carving teams will also be doing their best to win the People’s Choice Award for a huge cash prize. Plan your visit and cast your vote for the most impressive carving! As always, this event is FREE and open to the general public. Carvers will be working throughout the event on their sculptures. Activities, vendors, and head-to-head carving competitions will only take place on the weekends (Feb 14-16 and Feb 21-22), including President’s Day. Vendors and activities will happen between 10:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., weather permitting. Dress warm and enjoy this incredible event. Please note that Bennett Avenue will be closed to vehicle and pedestrian traffic on February 10th and 17th for ice delivery. Colonel Mustard’s Sandwich Emporium Holds Cribbage Tournament for Nonprofit. All Proceeds Benefit Give ‘em Heaven. Get ready for the ultimate cribbage event — and help local Coloradans in need at the same time. Join Colonel Mustard’s Sandwich Emporium on Feb 15, 2026, for “Cribbagepalooza Iii,” at Peak Pickleball. All proceeds benefit Give ‘em Heaven, who provides direct support and connects underprivileged individuals, families, seniors and veterans with vital resources and opportunities they might not otherwise be able to access. “It’s a fun time for a great cause,” said Lynda Cink, executive director of Give ‘em Heaven. “Everything we make this night helps community members in need.” Money from ticket sales and the auction proceeds benefits community outreach at Give ‘em Heaven. “We host a charity cribbage night on the 15th of every month at Colonel Mustard’s Sandwich Emporium”, said Mark Jakusovszky, co-owner of CMSE, “but we can only seat 16-20 players at the restaurant. At CRIBBAGEPALOOZA, we can seat up to 100 players for THE BIGGEST cribbage event in Southern Colorado and do so much more for our local community.” Prior to the tournament, players will learn more about Give ‘ em Heaven’s mission of helping people live their best lives - physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
