2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration

Celebrate freedom, community, and culture at the 2nd Annual Juneteenth Celebration at Concrete Coyote Park! Enjoy live music from the Pikes Peak Chamber Orchestra, with a special headlining performance by Iyanla Ayite and The Backbones. This family-friendly event features a vibrant vendor market, delicious food and drinks, free prizes, and a powerful Juneteenth Freedom Walk. Connect with local nonprofits through interactive activities exploring what freedom means in our community. Come celebrate, learn, and grow together! Juneteenth, marks the day in 1865 when the last enslaved Black Americans learned of their freedom—over two years after emancipation was declared. It is a celebration of liberation, resilience, and Black culture—a time to honor the past, uplift the present, and imagine a future rooted in true freedom for all. Celebrating Juneteenth is more than attending an event—it’s an act of honoring history, uplifting culture, and strengthening community. By showing up, you help keep the stories of freedom and resilience alive, support local artists, businesses and nonprofits, and take part in a shared vision of what liberation can look like today. On 19 June, 2026, join African American Historical & Genealogical Society of Colorado Springs for our 4th Annual Juneteenth Celebration at the African American Museum in Colorado Springs, located at the Westside Community Center Campus! This federal holiday is a significant part of our history as it recognizes the day when federal troops arrived in Galveston, Texas in 1865 to ensure that all enslaved people were freed. As the only African American historical and genealogical society with a museum in the state, it is our responsibility to keep this history alive. Victor Gem & Mineral Show
Presented by Southern Teller County Focus Group at Pinnacle Park Plaza Victor, CO
The annual Victor Gem & Mineral Show presented by the Southern Teller County Focus Group (STCFG) in Victor, Colorado will be held June 19-21. The event offers a unique way to spend Father’s Day weekend in the mountains. Bring Dad to Victor, find a pet rock, learn to pan for gold, and take in some free live music. The show will be held in downtown historic Victor and is open and free to the public. The show will include vendors selling polished gems, hand-crafted jewelry, rough slabs, specimens, cabochons, geodes, turquoise, and more. There will also be gold and gem panning at the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum. Show hours are from 9 to 5 Friday and Saturday and 9-4 on Sunday. Saturday night, June 20, the City of Victor will sponsor free live music on the Pinnacle Park Plaza stage. Come enjoy a cold drink and take in the concert, shop for gems and jewelry, and relax in the mountain air. This is the first in a series of summer concerts hosted by the city. Concerts are free and are scheduled for several Saturday nights through August. In addition, the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum gift shop will be open with its collection of rocks, gems, minerals, rhodochrosite and aquamarine jewelry, geodes and the museum hosts gold panning for kids of all ages. Pro Football Camp

Current and former NFL, EFL and Pro Women football athletes from teams across the leagues—including Colorado Springs native JoJo Domann, LB and Matt Henningsen, DE Broncos —are volunteering their time and talents to help coach the 21st annual Pro Football Camp! For the past 20 years, Pro Football Camp has created an instructional, fun, and uplifting experience for kids 7 - 14 years old in the Colorado Springs area. More than 6,100 kids have learned not only football skills but also developed character traits off-the-field from listening to NFL athletes coaching at the Pro Football Camp, who share their stories of perseverance, respect, and overcoming adversity in their lives. Bringing its unique sound to concert halls, clubs and festivals, the Hennessy 6 showcases its exciting original material to enthusiastic audiences and packed clubs throughout their touring area. Whether performing as a stand-alone sextet or with a full orchestra, the Hennessy 6 explores multiple styles and flavors with versatility and virtuosity. Collectively, the band’s members have appeared alongside numerous luminaries of the music world, including Dave Liebman, Maria Schneider, Joe Walsh, Ernie Watts, John Faddis, Wycliffe Gordon, Vince Gill, and Amy Grant. The 2026 season begins on May 29 at 7pm in the garden at the corner of N. Tejon and Monument Streets., just blocks north of downtown, and continues on alternate Fridays through August 21.
