Wednesday Morning Walks in the Garden of the Gods
Presented by City of Colorado Springs Parks, Recreation & Cultural Services at Garden of the Gods Visitor and Nature Center Colorado Springs, CO
Experience the Park’s natural beauty and unique features by joining this expanded guided nature walk. Participants will enjoy an introduction along Gateway Trail to the Central Garden’s most remarkable sights. The walk will cover about one mile over smooth, paved trails and will typically last around 90 minutes. Upon arrival at the Central Garden, participants may continue with the guide for further exploration, or continue to explore independently. Those who prefer can also return to the Visitor Center with the guide. Weather dependent. Local Plant Walk

This is a guided walk along Gateway Trail focused on the plants, trees and wildflowers found in the Garden of the Gods. Jazz in the Garden Presents: Hennessy 6

Bringing its unique sound to concert halls, clubs and festivals, the Hennessy 6 showcases its exciting original material to enthusiastic audiences and packed clubs throughout their touring area. Whether performing as a stand-alone sextet or with a full orchestra, the Hennessy 6 explores multiple styles and flavors with versatility and virtuosity. Collectively, the band’s members have appeared alongside numerous luminaries of the music world, including Dave Liebman, Maria Schneider, Joe Walsh, Ernie Watts, John Faddis, Wycliffe Gordon, Vince Gill, and Amy Grant. The 2026 season begins on May 29 at 7pm in the garden at the corner of N. Tejon and Monument Streets., just blocks north of downtown, and continues on alternate Fridays through August 21. Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready to spend your evening with the best music to be found in the city–new, old, tried and true you don't want to miss a single one! We'll provide beverages (for donation) and music that will get your toes tapping and fingers snapping. Picnics welcome. Blankets and lawn chairs encouraged. Beverages available.
