Returning for its second year in the community where Patty Jewett, Bonneville, Kittyhawk and the Old North End come together, Whistle Pig Brewing is proud to announce "Brewster Palooza," a live concert featuring local favorites Nathan Archer and Tinker's Damn, with Denver-based Tony Luke Band bringing the heat and filling out the card! Music! Nathan Archer: Caught between rock and roots, intimate and universal, roaring band and crooning songwriter. STRUM / STOMP / HOWL / REPEAT. Tony Luke Band: Playing a variety of butt-bumpin', rockin' rhythm & blues and roadhouse rock. Tinker's Damn: Grungy grooves on the rocks with a psychedelic twist. Tinker's Damn has been rocking Colorado Springs since 2014. What started out as a cover band has now evolved into a group producing original music described as a cross between Clutch and The Pretty Reckless. Lake George Fire Protection District Annual Spaghetti Dinner and On-Line Auction

Lake George Fire Protection District (LGFPD) is gearing up for their annual Spaghetti Dinner Fundraiser to be held Saturday, August 15 and an on-line auction. They are in need of items and/or services to be donated for the auction. Music will be provided by David Manship. This fundraiser is a vital component of LGFPD in insuring their continued and better ability to serve the needs of the district. All items will be placed in the on-line auction, which will run from August 2nd at 8 a.m. through August 17th at 8 p.m. To participate in the auction, go to https://www.32auctions.com/LGFire2026. They are accepting items for the auction; for example, gift certificates for goods or services, specialty baskets, handmade items, etc. Please email [email protected] or call 719-748-3022 for drop off times. Monetary donations are also welcome and can be mailed to Lake George Fire, PO Box 281, Lake George, CO 80827. LGFPD was established October 21, 1974 and are celebrating 52 years serving their district and beyond. They cover 250 square miles and respond to a variety of calls; structure Fires, wildland Fires, accidents (vehicle and ATV), medical emergencies, water rescues, ice Rescues, and assist Park County Search and Rescue. LGFPD has one paid chief and an average of 35 active volunteers. Lake George Fire responds as mutual aid to all Park County and Teller County agencies and is part of the Teller County Wildland Task Force. World-class dancers bring Proulx’s iconic short story to life with expressive dance and music capturing the emotional restraint, rugged beauty, and tragic romance that have made the story a cornerstone of literature and film. Set in the American West before same-sex marriage was legal, the ballet tells the story of two working-class men caught between desire and fear, sharing the unspoken depths of longing, conflict, and intimacy. Sunnyside Cemetery Tours

Guided walking tours of the Sunnyside Cemetery near Victor, sponsored by the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum, will be held June 6 through Sept. 19 - the first Saturdays of each month at 10 am and third Saturdays of each month at 1 pm, weather allowing.
