'The Garbologists'

Written by Lindsay Joelle and Directed by GerRee Hinshaw. Danny is a white, blue-collar, born-and-bred New Yorker. Marlowe is Black, Ivy-League-educated, and just joined the sanitation department. They’ve got one thing in common: the route. Over the course of countless trash pickups, this odd couple bickers, bonds, and uncovers unexpected truths about themselves—and the city they serve. Directed by GerRee Hinshaw (Dream Hou$e), The Garbologists is a sharp and heartfelt comedy about finding connection in the mess of everyday life. It closes our 50th season with grit, laughter, and plenty of trash talk. UCCS students are always free. Contact the box office in person or by phone with your student ID to reserve seats. Pro Football Camp

For the past 20 years, Pro Football Camp has created an instructional, fun, and uplifting experience for kids 7 - 14 years old in the Colorado Springs area. More than 6,100 kids have learned not only football skills but also developed character traits off-the-field from listening to NFL athletes coaching at the Pro Football Camp, who share their stories of perseverance, respect, and overcoming adversity in their lives. Bird Banding Demonstration

Join Dr. Claire Ramos and her students from Colorado State University Pueblo as we learn about the birds of the Garden of the Gods. During this bird banding demonstration, you will learn how her team safely catches birds and collects scientific information, while getting to observe the birds up close. Recommended ages 8+. Advanced registration required. Each demonstration will last 45 minutes - 1 hour. No previous experience is necessary for this observational event. This program is weather-dependent and will be cancelled in the event of poor weather for the safety of the birds. Bat Watch

Eco-locators will be provided to hear bat calls as we watch them hunt and navigate the night sky. Meet at the admission hut for Rock Ledge Ranch Historic Site. Walking is along a flat, mostly paved even surface with a total distance less than ½ mile. Dress for the evening weather. Parking available at parking lot #1 and at Rock Ledge Ranch. No Refunds.
