United We Rock

Mark your calendar and get ready to celebrate — United We Rock Festival takes over Rock Ledge Ranch on August 1, 2026 from 2–8 pm for an unforgettable afternoon and evening of live music, local flavor and hands-on western fun. This high-energy festival brings our shared history to life with an incredible lineup of bands, delicious food trucks, arts and crafts vendors, and beer and whiskey tastings — all set against the beautiful historic backdrop of the Ranch. As the United States celebrates its 250th birthday and Colorado marks 150 years, this milestone party is one you won’t want to miss. Join us for a one-of-a-kind Colorado Day celebration as the Royal Gorge Farmers Market transforms into the Colorado Day Makers Market on Saturday, August 1, 2026, at the beautiful Gateway Depot & Plaza on the eastern edge of downtown Cañon City! Created in honor of Colorado’s 150th Anniversary of Statehood, this expanded special event celebrates the creativity, heritage, agriculture, and adventurous spirit that make Colorado extraordinary. Running from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, the event runs concurrently with the weekly Royal Gorge Farmers Market from 9:00 am–1:00 pm, featuring local produce, baked goods, specialty foods, farm products, and regional vendors. Throughout the day, the event expands into a vibrant Makers Market, welcoming artisans and craftspeople from across Colorado to showcase and sell handmade wares, artwork, home décor, jewelry, apparel, specialty products, and Colorado-inspired creations. Visitors can enjoy a lively festival atmosphere complete with live music, children’s activities, food trucks, community gathering spaces, and special experiences throughout the day. Adding to the celebration, Colorado Jeep Tours will offer four special 90-minute historic area tours departing every two hours beginning at 9:00 am, giving guests an unforgettable opportunity to explore the region’s rich history and scenic beauty. Jazz in the Garden Presents US Air Force Academy Band

The professional Airmen-musicians in the USAFA follow a long blue line of talented Air Force Academy bandsmen, dedicated to serving our great nation. They represent the young men and women at the United States Air Force Academy training to be officers of character who will lead our Air Force and Space Force. The USAFA bands play a major role in cultivating our national heritage through American jazz! The Jazz in the Garden 2026 season begins on May 29 at 7pm in the garden at the corner of N. Tejon and Monument Streets., just blocks north of downtown, and continues on alternate Fridays through August 21. Bring a picnic, lawn chairs and blankets, and get ready to spend your evening with the best music to be found in the city–new, old, tried and true you don't want to miss a single one!
