41st Annual Mountain Arts Festival

Come to beautiful Woodland Park for the weekend of August 8 & 9 for the 41st Annual Mountain Arts Festival. Located in Memorial Park in the 'City above the Clouds" the summer weather is a comfortable 10 degrees cooler than Colorado Springs. In addition to the art, there will be some fabulous local food trucks and live music to swing to. Don't forget that Memorial Park has a great kids playground and kiddie river to play in as well. Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off

The Colorado Springs Labor Day Lift Off is an annual hot air balloon festival that takes place over Labor Day weekend, offering a spectacular display of colorful balloons taking flight at dawn. This family-friendly event, held in Memorial Park, attracts thousands of visitors each year to witness the vibrant lift-offs, as well as enjoy various activities, including live entertainment, food vendors, and interactive experiences. 6th Annual Quilt Showcase & Boutique

“We’re so excited to offer our annual fundraising event again, for the sixth year, in this beautiful venue. We have gained a presence over the last few years and hope those who have visited us before will come again! It’s across the street from the Commonwheel Art Festival in Memorial Park on the same weekend,” says PPQG Silent Auction Co-Chairperson, Janie Levanger. There will also be a display of this year’s PPQG quilt challenge entries, plus educational presentations about quilts in general (including vintage quilts).
