About the Film Released in 2017 by Red Bull Media House, Blood Road follows ultra-endurance mountain bike athlete Rebecca Rusch and her Vietnamese riding partner, Huyen Nguyen, as they pedal 1,200 miles along the infamous Ho Chi Minh Trail through the jungles of Vietnam, Laos, and Cambodia. Their mission is deeply personal: to reach the crash site and final resting place of Rebecca's father, a U.S. Air Force pilot who was shot down over Laos during the Vietnam War more than 40 years earlier. Along the way, the two women push their physical and emotional limits while exploring the complex history of the region and discovering how the war shaped their lives in profoundly different ways. Sunnyside Cemetery Tours
Presented by Victor Lowell Thomas Museum at Sunnyside Cemetery Cripple Creek, CO
Guided walking tours of the Sunnyside Cemetery near Victor, sponsored by the Victor Lowell Thomas Museum, will be held June 6 through Sept. 19 - the first Saturdays of each month at 10 am and third Saturdays of each month at 1 pm, weather allowing. Local historians Alicia Petri Harrington and Veldean Myers will be conducting the tours, sharing histories of families who pioneered the gold rush day, telling stories of resilient women, brave men, grave robbers, and unusual characters. Meet just outside the cemetery gate in Pauper’s Field (Teller County Road 87 southwest of Victor). This event highlights the importance of the people who lived through Cripple Creek Victor Gold Rush in the history of the western United States and Colorado during the 250/150 celebration this summer. Pikes Peak Sunrise Opening
Presented by Pikes Peak - America's Mountain at Pikes Peak - America's Mountain Cascade, CO
Advance purchase is required. Each vehicle must have a timed-entry permit and Sunrise admission ticket purchased online before arrival. Tickets will not be sold at the Gateway, and access to the North Slope Recreation Area will not be available during event hours. Prefer to leave the driving to us? Shuttle tickets are available! Shuttles depart from the North Pole parking lot, located 0.3 miles before the Pikes Peak entrance, and travel directly to the summit. The Pikes Peak Gateway will open early for special sunrise events, so please take note of your arrival time when purchasing tickets. Before you go, please prepare for the mountain drive and summit conditions: • Avoid using air conditioning on the way up. • Know how to downshift and use engine braking on the way down. • Drink plenty of water before and during your visit. • Bring warm layers. The summit is usually about 30 degrees colder than in town and can be especially cold before sunrise. The Summit Visitor Center café and gift shop will be open for food and souvenirs. Don’t miss this extraordinary chance to welcome the day from the top of America’s Mountain. All access is weather permitting. Curious George: 'The Golden Meatball'

Second Stage Music by John Kavanaugh | Book and Lyrics by Jeremy Desmon George had been waiting all month for All-You-Can-Eat Meatball Day, a day almost bigger than his birthday! But this year, the hungry crowd had vanished! Something was keeping people away… something pretty big. And that something was Phinneas T. Lightspeed and his speedy Meatballs-o-Matic machine. In despair, George’s friend Chef Pisghetti vows to cook no more. Determined to help him, George goes on a mission to enter the Chef’s meatballs in the world-famous Golden Meatball Contest in Rome. Everyone’s favorite mischievous monkey and his friend in the yellow hat sing and dance up a storm in this adventure-filled musical.
