'Where We Stand'
Presented by Ent Center for the Arts at Ent Center for the Arts Colorado Springs, CO
Written by Donnetta Lavinia Grays and Directed by Marisa Hébert. A stranger stands before us with a story—and a deal. In Where We Stand, a poetic and electrifying one-person play, a lonely soul makes a choice that could change everything. Part fable, part confession, and part communal reckoning, this contemporary tale invites the audience to step into the storyteller’s shoes and cast a vote of their own. Directed by Marisa Hébert (Flyin’ West, Every Brilliant Thing), this spellbinding modern parable explores the consequences of mercy, the cost of belonging, and the ties that bind us together. Making its Colorado debut, Where We Stand is a haunting journey into the heart of human connection. UCCS students are always free. Contact the box office in person or by phone with your student ID to reserve seats. This production contains themes of isolation, metaphysical bargaining, and moral ambiguity. If you have questions about the material or wish to read a copy of the work in advance, please email [email protected].
