We have loaner books. Despite this sing not falling on all Souls' weekend we will still have a little area set up for hanging pictures of our late loved ones, so bring one if you have it! Drawing inspiration from the legacy of the Profiles in Courage Award established by President John F. Trees of Life
Presented by Pikes Peak Hospice & Palliative Care at Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum Colorado Springs, CO
The beloved holiday tradition features warm beverages and treats, inspirational remarks, music, the solemn reading of names of lost loved ones, and the spectacular lighting of trees for the season. The lights represent the memory of those who have touched our lives and are no longer with us. Hundreds of candles on the museum’s south plaza will set the mood, and Soli deo Gloria Choir will perform songs such as “Seasons of Love” from the musical “Rent” and “Save You a Seat” by pop sensation Alex Warren. Military members and first responders will be remembered by the illumination of the gazebo outside the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum in red, white and blue lights in their honor. The trees will remain lit throughout the holiday season. Patrons wishing to submit the name of a loved one to be read or to purchase a commemorative ornament may do so from 4:30 to 5 PM. Commemorative ornaments may be purchased through the season at https://pikespeakhospice.org/trees-of-life. Colorado Springs Record Show

The largest record sale in southern Colorado is back! Our one-day event takes place on Saturday, November 21 at the Antlers Hotel in downtown Colorado Springs. Dig through tens of thousands of records, cassettes, t-shirts, and more from new and returning vendors from all across the state. Doors are open from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., but give yourself time to look! With over 60 vendors, more than 100 tables, and prices starting at $1, there’s always something for everyone. You can also expect free parking in the garage below the Antlers, ATMs onsite, a live DJ spinning vinyl, and giveaways for attendees (including passes to local venues and gift cards from local record stores!). As always, proceeds from every ticket sold will go to support a local nonprofit. See you there!
