45th U.S. Senior Open Championship
Experience the 45th U.S. Senior Open Championship at The Broadmoor June 25-29. Nestled on the southern edge of the Rocky Mountains in Colorado Springs, you don’t want to miss the excitement of this family-friendly event. This will be the ninth major championship hosted at the famous Colorado resort featuring the best senior players in the world and legends of the game. Ticket prices start below $30 and kids 17 and under are admitted free.

Walk Run Roll for Daniel

This family friendly event benefits the Brave Daniel Irrevocable Trust and Children's Hospital Colorado.
Daniel Giffin is a 17 year old Colorado Springs native who has been battling multiple reoccurring brain tumors since he was 11 years old. He is currently undergoing clinical trial treatment and has had a total of 59 rounds of radiation. He has had 7 brain surgeries with the most recent in October 2023.

Daniel is known for riding up Pikes Peak on a unicycle at 11 years old and starring in the ’Shift’ RAGBRAI Documentary about the 7 day ride across Iowa, which he did twice while battling brain cancer. He annually donates proceeds from his fundraising to the Children's Hospital of Colorado to help other kids and families in need.
The event has two course options:
A 15 mile bicycle ride which leaves from the Buffalo Lodge, or a 5k Run/Walk which starts at and winds through one of the most beautiful parks in the state, Garden of the Gods.
The 5K course is stroller friendly and suitable for kids of all ages.
