Moments from world famous Manitou Springs

A Quiet Retreat in the Woods

The scent of pine needles in the breeze.  A cluster of wildflowers up the cabin lane. Small animal tracks in the snow outside your front door. Beautiful Autumn colors. Time truly stands still at Keithley Pines Historic Cabins.

Built by the Keithley family in the 1920’s, these traditional log cabins have been lovingly restored to offer historic ambiance with modern conveniences. Secluded on eight acres, just moments away from Manitou Springs, you’ll find wildlife, beautiful views and a comfortable retreat for your special getaway.  One, two and three-bedroom cabins feature:

A full kitchen, stocked with all you need to make and serve (basic) meals. (Pots, pans, dishes, utensils, glasses . . .)
Clawfoot soaking tubs
Rustic wood burning fireplaces (wood provided)
Smart TV’s (but who wants to watch TV when there is so much to explore!)

Manitou Springs, at the foot of Pikes Peak, is a Historic District, a Creative District and a Pollinator District.  We have numerous independently owned restaurants, shops, art galleries and attractions.  We are also the Base Camp for so many outdoor activities: Hiking, fishing, scenic drives. There are also many festivals in Manitou Springs: The National Fruitcake Toss Day, Coffin Races, Wine and Beer festivals, Art Festivals and Carnivale celebrations.

Don’t miss our natural occurring mineral tasting springs. All the springs in the Manitou Springs mineral water aquifer system are artesian (they rise to the surface under national pressure.) Each spring has a distinctive taste due to the differences in mineral content, caused by the dissolution of the underground limestone and dolomite.  Take a self-guided tour of the springs and find which one is your favorite!

We are also in the center of many regional attractions: Pikes Peak, the Cog Railway, the Airforce Academy, the Paralympic Museum, Weidner Field (home to the Switchback soccer team,) Seven Falls, the Cheyenne Mt. Zoo, the Royal Gorge, just to name a few fun things in the area.

So much to do in Manitou, come stay where you want to play!
